When Jessica contacted me a little while back about photographing her sweet family, I knew it would be a dream. She is quite a talented photographer, and has always been the first to step in and encourage me through my blogging and photography adventures. I have known her and her brood of boys for many years, and now her youngest, Cam, is one of my tap students! This family is so loving, fun and adventurous. As we were discussing locations, I threw it out there that maybe they should hop in the lake, and of course they went for it! The weather was perfect, we had a beautiful sunset, and we all had so much fun!
Their session is the kind that makes me cry as I am editing. The love they all share is so evident, even through photos.
Thank you, Barlows, for letting me capture some of your story. It was a gift for me to be able to do this.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Jessica is also a talented seamstress and crafter. She made her dress herself, and hand embroidered it!
