Momma to Clara, wife to Nathan. I have actually known Mandy for a lot of my life. We had mutual good friends as kids, and she recently even found an old polaroid of the two of us at a birthday party as kids, riding horses, and the caption at the bottom says "best friends." When we moved back to Wilkes, Mandy and I reconnected and I am so glad. She has been an incredible blessing to me in this past year. She is someone that I can be completely honest with, and she prays for me every day- one of the greatest qualities in a friend. She loves my boys like they are her own. She works hard and is one of the most caring and kind people that I know, but she is strong, too. I love watching her be a momma to Clara...she is gentle and loving, teaching and nurturing. Nathan, her husband, is her high school sweetheart, and I love their love story. We share a love for iced coffee (or any coffee!) and she makes the best chicken tortilla soup. She is giving, selfless, and understanding. She has a heart for the Lord, and she is radiantly beautiful, just the way she is, made in His image. I am so happy that I get to call her my friend.
